I have just recently finished this couple's crest for a 50th Wedding Anniversary. The theme concentrated on Australian flora and fauna with many other personal symbols woven into the crest.
The two birds which feature are the Rosella and Lorikeet, the native flora includes Grevillea and flowering Eucalyptus.
At the centre of the piece is a beautiful scene of Encounter Bay, South Australia, a place which is special to the couple.
The base of the crest features Australian finger limes, lemons and a frog and yin yang sign which are highly special and personal symbols.
The base of the crest is also embellished by a lovely water lily just above the romantic flowing ribbon, featuring the marriage year.
Designing this crest was a long but enjoyable process and I learnt a lot in the process.
